The “Akhil Bharatiya Sramik Party”
was formed to carry forward the mission and objectives of the
“Shramik Utthan Evam Samajik Kalyankari Association.”
The very name of the organization reflects its direction and purpose—
to stand with workers,
farmers,
economically weaker middle-class families,
and socially neglected communities.
This is not merely a political party,
but the continuation of years of social struggle,
public service,
and grassroots movements for the rights of hardworking people.
During the tenure of the Manmohan Singh government,
the number of subsidized LPG cylinders was reduced from 12 to 9,
and the refill waiting period was increased from 21 days to 30 days.
The organization strongly opposed these decisions
and launched public pressure campaigns demanding restoration of the previous system.
As a result of sustained public pressure,
the government was compelled to restore the earlier rules.
Through legal and social intervention,
significant efforts were made to ensure action against those responsible,
leading to arrests and accountability.

Following the Silkyara tunnel incident,
the organization appealed to the Prime Minister

for the 41 trapped workers through the concerned company.
